So, going around and visiting all the elders gets kind of tedious by the time you’re on your second or third alt.  I found myself starting to think: “Yeah, yeah, here I am.  How’s it going, gramps?  Now, give me the coin so I can go looking for the next old coot.”

In all seriousness, my last living grandparent passed away just before Christmas.  We all knew the end was coming and it was peaceful when it came, but it was still a shock to see the empty chair at Christmas dinner.  I know it’s a total cliche, but it’s a cliche because it’s true: you never have as much time as you think you do.

AFR #114 – Doing it

Morgatha is one kinky girl.  Not to mention creepy.  She’s… uh… creenky.

I can’t claim credit for any of the “This class does it…” jokes.  Those have been kicking around forever.  Even the ones I did come up with on my own are obvious enough that I’m sure lots of other people have thought of them before.

Pity the poor orphans of Stormwind.  With the fierce competition over confectioner’s sugar sacks, it’s a wonder they ever get their cookies at all.

And think what role models we’re providing for them– the celebrated heroes of the Alliance staring at empty corners, muttering to ourselves: “That bag of white powder, man, it’s gonna magically appear here any minute, I know it is.”  And then all diving on it like a football tackle pileup when it does.
