Oh boy, this one’s really obscure.

So, here’s the thing: Jonathan Adams, who is the voice of Xuen the White Tiger Celestial, also played Dr. Goodman on season 1 of Bones.  His character on Bones is a commanding presence, not unlike Xuen, and his boldly-voiced pronouncements are not that far off from the kinds of things Xuen says.  I recently rewatched season 1 and I couldn’t stop myself from yelling “VICTORY!” in my best Xuen voice almost every time Dr. Goodman had a line.

I don’t know if its like this for anyone else, but my experience of the Timeless Isle is filled with announcements that certain rares are up, then, before I can even mount up to go check it out, announcements that the rare in question is down.  I don’t think I’ve actually made it in time for one yet.

WoW’s unpleasable fan base strikes again!

To listen to the whining in Timeless Isle general chat, you’d think that Blizzard has never before created an easy way to get gear at the end of an expansion and this is the WORST thing EVAR to happen to the game. We’ve been here before, though, at the end of every expansion to date.

More geared potential raiders means more raids, shorter queue times, and better raid progress for everyone, and at the end of an expansion that has been pretty alt-unfriendly, it’s exactly what we needed.
