Of course, anything datamined off the PTR has to be taken as only slightly more reliable than a pencil sketch on the back of an envelope fished out of Ghostcrawler’s waste basket, but the idea of triple spec is still intriguing.  Of course, it would make a much bigger difference to some classes than to others.  Druids, paladins, and monks, for instance, have the choice of being tanks, dps, or healers.  Rogues and hunters, on the other hand, are really only choosing between different methods of sticking pointy things into their enemies.

The pre-Pandaria patch has really shaken things up, though more for some classes than for others.  It’s too early to know how things will really shape up, but it’s awfully confusing to be playing a warrior or a bear druid these days.  On the other hand, that’s what paladins go through every two years.  Rogues, though?  The most change rogues see from expansion to expansion is: “Hey, some of the stuff I used to have to carry around in my bag has gone gray.  Oh well, off to the vendor, then I can get back to stabbing things.”

You had to know Thizzible was going to go for show tunes, right?

Sadly, there’s no way to properly show in a comic the poetry-reading voice– slow, emphatic, monotonal, slightly nasal– that I learned from too much time hanging around with Very Deep and Serious Poets in college.  You’ll just have to imagine it for yourselves.

AFR #121 – No thanks for the memories

There’s something terribly sad about prot warriors.  Their job is to stand there and get punched in the face over and over again– and in order to do their job, they have to get punched in the face over and over again.  Warlocks and death knights may be the ones with the dark, angsty vibe in-game, but it’s prot warriors who have the best cause to go emo.

No one sees it, but my rage bar is always full.

AFR #114 – Doing it

Morgatha is one kinky girl.  Not to mention creepy.  She’s… uh… creenky.

I can’t claim credit for any of the “This class does it…” jokes.  Those have been kicking around forever.  Even the ones I did come up with on my own are obvious enough that I’m sure lots of other people have thought of them before.
