The chicken-bot quests have been mercifully abbreviated since the cataclysm.  I remember running the original quests and getting so annoyed with that chicken.  “Do you really have to run directly towards every mob between here and your take-off zone?  Couldn’t we avoid maybe one or two of them this time around?”  But I’ll admit, I had endless fun clicking on that chicken over and over again just to hear the mechanized “Bwock buckaw!”  Ah, simple pleasures.

“Pants” is one of those stealth funny words.  It’s not dirty or explicit.  It’s not naturally ridiculous like “chicken” or “poodle.”  It’s not overblown like “whosamading” or “flibbertigibbet.”  It’s just an ordinary word, but stick it into an otherwise innocuous discussion and you have instant funny.

(No April Foolery here, by the way, unless you want to count what Morgatha and Alaxia are doing to Gord.)
