The friend who got my into WoW has a blacksmithing character and made me some really awesome stuff when I was gearing up my characters. I was so impressed that I finally made one of my alts a blacksmith, only to discover that the experience of playing a blacksmith is one of constantly struggling to make gear that’s not quite good enough for you any more. But maybe it’s just me; maybe I’m just really bad at blacksmithing.

Believe it or not, this comic began with me, inspired by the Love is the Air goings on all around, musing on how to render Mr. Darcy’s proposal line from Pride and Prejudice into the arcane chat cant of WoW. (I suppose it could have been worse in full trade-chatese: “WTB TRU LUV!!!1!” or “lf1m marriage no failtards lol kthxbai”)
How the idea went from there to the current comic in which Mŕđåŗčŷ is only a background character with a throwaway line, I’m not entirely sure.

Of all the classes in the game, there’s none that says eeeeevil like warlocks. Whether that makes you feel more or less inclined to play one is up to you.
