A Field Guide to World of Warcraft Names

We interrupt your regularly scheduled dumb WoW comic for something even dumber!

This has been in the pipeline for a while and it’s going up a little early now that it’s finally ready (and that’s why there won’t be a comic this Saturday as usual).  There are many more varieties out in the wild still to be observed, catalogued, and mocked, so consider this only a first edition.  Maybe someday there will be a second edition with all new species.  Until then, enjoy!

Obligatory ass-covering note: None of the names used here are drawn from actual in-game characters.  I just made them up in a sad attempt to be funny and get attention.  Any resemblance to any actual character names is purely coincidental.  If you happen to have one of these names for your toon, I didn’t know about it and I’m not saying anything about you personally or your character.  This is all just in good fun, and you should feel free to mock me right back, I can take it.  Except for you, Bliizaarđ.  Yeah, you, the level-1 human warrior in Elwynn doing whisper-spams with bad spelling and terrible grammar.  Frack you and the sparklepony you rode in on.  Everyone else– we’re cool.
