Believe it or not, this comic began with me, inspired by the Love is the Air goings on all around, musing on how to render Mr. Darcy’s proposal line from Pride and Prejudice into the arcane chat cant of WoW. (I suppose it could have been worse in full trade-chatese: “WTB TRU LUV!!!1!” or “lf1m marriage no failtards lol kthxbai”)
How the idea went from there to the current comic in which Mŕđåŗčŷ is only a background character with a throwaway line, I’m not entirely sure.

Okay, from now on, all comics will be titled: “Statistical abstract of projected fire hydrant maintenance outlays for fiscal year 1972.”
