The leveling gear in Draenor is certainly savage, if by “savage” you mean “ragged and skimpy.” At least this time around the men’s gear is just as skimpy as the women’s. Fair is fair, you know.

Pointless armour now comes in Dude, too! =) I guess they had to hold true to the original Outland armour schemes? Or something? Thank God for transmog. My God.

Oh, yes. If ever there was a better argument for why we need transmog than the Draenor gear, I don’t know what it is.

Quite right! It’s taken long enough, but at least we’ve finally reached a point where the men’s gear and women’s gear is equally ridiculous.

I… the slight difference is that those outfits don’t just mean skimpy in terms of guys, there’s a slight gender preference thing there too. Which, not having spent time or effort on Transmog back when I did play, makes me somewhat relieved that I am still upset with Blizzard and did not return.
Personally, why can’t we all just have nice things? I really don’t mind the occasional person wearing a swimsuit or something, but when every single item is *ahem* something that was originally purchased from a half off sale *ahem* it ruins the interest in anything other than finding something that doesn’t look like it would cause a person to be very… susceptible to cold weather. This suddenly makes me very thankful for the nice outfits in some other games!

Yeah, I’m supposed to be the “commander” of this expeditionary force, so why am I running around in rags when even my garrison lumberjacks have proper clothes to wear? You probably made a good choice to stop playing when you did.

I would just like to point out that guys are not the only ones in need of… proper support. =) We’ve been in serious danger of freezing our nipples off (among other things) and let me assure you, those are NOT lick and stick. Not that I haven’t run across many a guy in groups who’d like to try. O.o Yeah, I don’t mind the random “I’m so good I don’t NEED armour” transmog, but every armour drop looking like the only thing it’s missing is the pole, or the red light? Thank you no. Novel thought – how about armour which is actually practical and serves it original purpose – protecting us from attack?
