< The start of the 250 storyline
Doing the visual work for a typical AFR comic– the rendering, composing, postwork, etc.– takes 1-2 hours. This one took over 30 hours all told. And there are more comics coming up that are going to take a lot of work. I’m happy with how this series is going, but I’m also looking forward to getting back to just telling jokes.

Yep. I’ve been able to schedule myself some time to work on these comics in advance, which is good. Particularly for the last few comics in the series, I’m going to need it.

This a realy cool post, i do kinda like the idea of spilliting the story up into 3 parts. this is gonna be a fun read over the next couble of weeks.
btw side question
what kinda of program do you used to create the character?. i hafe never seen that used befor in a comic

I do most of the character work in Poser. It has the advantage of being very flexible and fairly easy to use, but the drawback that it doesn’t really look like WoW. You don’t entirely appreciate how distinctive a visual style the game has until you try to imitate it.
