There are few sights in WoW as wonderful as a gnome riding an elekk or a mammoth. A Tauren riding a hawkstrider is one of them.

and yes, it totally cracks me up when YayMounts pulls up a hawkstrider for my guy’s Tauren hunter. Especially now that they have hunter pets run alongside on ground mounts, so it looks like he’s trying to run away from his jade tiger who wants to eat his hawkstrider. LOL

Heh, my new hunter rides a bear, with a bear pet, and a little bear cub vanity pet running along after. What can I say? She likes bears. 🙂

You have no idea how much I needed these two laughs today. (Three, counting the comic itself.)
Last night I saw a hunter on an Imperial Quillen with a Quillen pet and thought, “Ooh. I should so do that.”

This reminds me of how me and my friend found out that you can indeed mount in that female Vrykul village in Storm Peaks. Obviously, a mechanostrider was the first choice. x)

Good choice! I remember flying through the village on my druid on my way to do the frost giant dailies. My bird would suddenly turn into a giant blue woman swimming through the air!
